Alonit Stefanini Wainwright shares her new Hydropath Vision and writes:

In this blog, I want to share with you what we celebrate and why we have a new Hydropath Vision which will benchmark all our activities for the next five years. We have set some challenging sales and innovation goals. We do so whilst challenging our company to be Net Zero by 2025. This creates a more attractive proposition for all our future customers, partners, suppliers and employees.

We give individuals, business and industry the opportunity to meet their own sustainability goals and CSR targets. Our customers make significant savings in water, chemical and energy usage which in turn saves time and money. Simple as that.

Hydropath, at the Forefront of Sustainable Cleantech for H2O Treatment

We have been at the edge of the mainstream for many years, yet we have punched above our weight because we deliver results year on year. We have developed a reputation for longstanding relationships. Such as British Gas, our first customer in 1992 who continue working with us to date.

Engineer, Sébastien Kuehn, Technical Director of HydroFLOW France and Hydropath Germany works tirelessly to present our Clean Tech solutions to customers who traditionally use chemical treatments.

Sébastien told me “Very often, the customer is so amazed by the savings in chemicals, water and energy that they ask me:” Why have I not heard of HydroFLOW® before? “This is why I believe that HydroFLOW® is a Technological Breakthrough (or rupture) and we are at the cusp of a great change, our turnover is already proof of that”

With the climate and nature crisis upon us, we all have much to do. Scientists and World leaders have told us that we have this decade to turn things around and stop a climate, nature and bio diversity catastrophe. As Hydropath MD and Marketing Lead, I am committed to two very important things. That Hydropath is fit for the future and that we contribute to a better future for us and for our future generations. We have the privilege of offering one of the Solutions to Fight Climate Change. We also have the responsibility to be part of the solution too.

Alonit Stefanini Wainwright – MD and Marketing Lead, Hydropath Technology

We celebrate HydroFLOW® as Clean Tech

HydroFLOW® is defined here as a Clean Technology and also a profitable solution.

But don’t just take our word for it: “To address environmental challenges without compromising economic growth, Bertrand Piccard and the Solar Impulse Foundation have identified 1000+ clean and profitable solutions”

HydroFLOW® is defined here as a Clean Technology and also a profitable solution . Cleantech, is the term referring to a wide variety of environmentally-friendly practices and technologies.

You will find HydroFLOW® in a Guide curated by the SIF to help individuals, businesses, governments and countries find CleanTech solutions.

Just before the UK hosted the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in November 2021, I attended a Green Constructors webinar. A quote from that webinar struck a lasting cord with me:

“We need to scale up existing products, not inventing new technology as we cannot wait 10 years to fight climate change“

For nearly 30 years Hydropath has consistently manufactured non-polluting, chemical free water care products. Who would have thought all those years ago that Hydropath products would be a key product in so many different manufacturing industries and processers?

Adrian Blacklaws – International Business Development Manager, Hydropath Technology

We celebrate the technology.

The Original, The Best and still going strong.

Hydropath Technology products offer realistic and sustainable water, chemical and energy saving solutions. We address some of the most persistent problems that occur in water systems such as Limescale and Biofouling and as a Non-Chemical Flocculation Process.

We specialise in making systems perform better, more efficiently, with increased longevity, less Water usage, more economic, less chemicals. In 1992 we received our original patent and started with an easy to fit household unit for non-chemical limescale control.

We have a modular system that suits every kind of building and industry, any pipe size, any pipe material. We do so with very low energy consumption.

“One of the best things about working for Hydropath has always been the opportunity to work with a vast range of fascinating industries and to innovate on new applications and new approaches. Our new vision looks to build on this and strengthen our existing knowledge while expanding into new areas.

We have had some really exciting developments in the last few years, with applications like waste water treatment and power stations really starting to take off around the world. Looking forward we have many more exciting things planned, the first of which is an upgrade to our best-selling – and longest running – model, the HS38. This is well underway and we hope to be able to give you an update soon. This is just the first project – we have lots more to share with you in the coming months, so watch this space!”

Dr Denzil Rodrigues – Technical Manager, Hydropath Technology

We celebrate our distributors.

Companies all around the world made up of committed individuals, Engineers, Marketing and Industry Specialists, experts in the field committed to HydroFLOW®

Our distributors are independent companies who have collectively hundreds of years of experience in the industry, water and energy sectors. We think of them more like partners. They take the HydroFLOW® message out there and make the magic happen.

In my opinion, their commitment to innovate and develop our understanding of HydroFLOW® and all its’ applications and sectors are awe inspiring.

“Commercial buildings in the United States are mandated to implement environmental sustainability programs, with the objective of reducing their carbon footprint. HydroFLOW® offers innovative solutions that help commercial facilities reduce energy consumption and conserve water, while becoming eco-friendly.

Businesses that integrate HydroFLOW®, contribute to a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable world.”

Tal Journo – CEO, HydroFLOW USA

We celebrate our customers.

By using HydroFLOW®, customers make savings in water, chemical and energy which saves time and money. HydroFLOW® devices are installed on systems such as Heat Exchangers (Plate/Tube and Shell/Water Heaters), Cooling Towers, Steam Boilers, Pipelines, Sea Water Cooling, Pump Rooms, Humidifiers and Evaporators.

No matter how well these water systems are managed, they are susceptible to scaling and bio fouling issues which require water treatment. These issues cost us all in money, in water and energy wastage.

Our customers are based in many different sectors where water treatment solutions are essential for optimum performance. Such as Commercial and Residential Buildings, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Agriculture, Mining, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Power Stations, Commercial Kitchens and even Zoos.

“The result speaks for itself, the efficiency of the installed HydroFLOW® solution is undeniable. The objectives are fully achieved “

Roffach Hospital in Montpellier, France
Didier Kasprzykowsky – Head of Maintenance

“Three months after the installation of the HydroFLOW® device, we conducted our annual chiller inspection and cleaning, expecting some hard scale deposits to be noticeable inside the tubes. To our pleasant surprise, the chiller tubes were found to be clean and free of scale. As mentioned above, the system had been operating for two months without chemicals!

The tower and chiller continued to operate for another six months at this high conductivity set point and without chemicals. The tower remained scale-free and the chiller approach temperature continued to be within industry standards, indicating the chiller tubes stayed scale free. The trial clearly showed that the HydroFLOW® device was superior to chemicals at keeping the chiller/tower system clean and scale-free.”

George Kotselas – HealthCare and Industrial Account Manager

We celebrate our Hydropath staff.

A committed team of people who are dedicated to our Hydropath mission and vision.

Hydropath is committed to ensure that each and every HydroFLOW® water treatment device is packed and dispatched to the highest quality and does the job that it is designed to do. This does not happen without our dedicated Operations Team.

Equally we celebrate our Administrative, Sales and Marketing and Technical teams who the job which contributes to each and every successful installation.

“As the General Manager at Hydropath Technology Ltd, it remains a honour and a privilege to lead a dedicated workforce that is fully committed to achieving the goals and vision set by the board.

A vision that continues to build upon and strengthen the core ethos set for the Company some 30 years ago by Danny and Dalia Stefanini – innovation and sustainability. With water becoming an increasingly precious commodity world-wide, it has never been a more important time to focus our efforts on helping to preserve this valuable commodity for future generations.”

Kevin Malpass – General Manager, Hydropath Technology

We celebrate our company.

In October 2022, Hydropath will celebrate 30 years in the Water Treatment Industry.

A company that survives 3 years is a success and here we are at 30. At the core of our business is a patented technology. Based in Nottingham, UK, our family-run business is still small enough to care and experienced enough to realise our ambitions. We have built a network of committed distributors and partners all around the world.

Some have worked with us since 1994. In the UK, we supply to major merchants and trade as well as offer specialised site survey and installation to all manufacturing and industry sectors.
