Supermarket uses HydroFLOW® water treatment

Supermarket display cases used to be cloudy with limescale and now clear after using HydroFLOW®

Sometimes you need more technical information. Sometimes you just need to hear the story.

Demystifying HydroFLOW®. Well I have to admit, I played on words here.

This is a lovely story about Misting systems not Mysteries. What are Misting Systems you may ask?

In this case, misting systems are used at the Kroger Grocery Store. Display cases need to be clean and clear. The misting system sprays the glass with a fine mist which does that very job.

You can also find Misting Systems in many aspects of Agriculture.

The downside to this is that the nozzles of system get blocked up with limescale, and there was scaling on the display glass.

The Kroger Grocery Store who have 3000 stores approached Hydroflow USA

They wanted to protect scale and scum accumulation within the mister nozzles and keep display cases clear in the produce department.

Hydroflow USA gave a free consultation and site visit. HydroFLOW® water treatment devices are easy to retrofit. The right unit was specified for the system and pipe sizing.

After HydroFLOW® installation:

  • Limescale build-up on display, signage and nozzle screens was barely negligible

  • Removal of scum or limescale was easy to clean or wash away.

  • Maintenance was reduced by 75%

  • ROI was achieved within 3 months after installation.

So how does it work?

You can watch a simple video here.
