HydroFLOW® water conditioners have been installed in 45 bakeries across Tunisia in August and September 2020.
What does limescale mean for the commercial bakery?
Limescale accumulation blocks heat transfer across the heating surface, making the system significantly less efficient (20% for around 1.5mm of limescale). Limescale can also cause blockages, impair valves or pumps, increasing maintenance time and costs.
HydroFLOW® units can protect the hard-working equipment such as steam ovens and HVAC equipment. Allowing them to maintain efficiency, saving energy, maintenance time and money.
La société Magasin Générale MG were to keen to find a non-chemical and sustainable solution to protecting the bakery steam ovens.
Hydroflow Tunisia have worked with La société Magasin Générale MG to bring HydroFLOW® to the Boulangerie-style bakeries situated in 45 areas around Tunisia. The bakery ovens are steam ovens. In this instance the HydroFLOW® HS38 is installed at the cold water inlet to each Steam Oven. Cold water is passed over the bread inside the oven and then evaporates. These loaves are baked at temperature of 260 ̊C
HydroFLOW® electronic water conditioners offer a chemical-free approach to treating both existing and new limescale. They are an alternative to water softeners with the benefit of no ongoing replenishment costs and the treated water remaining potable.
A single HydroFLOW® unit can cover an entire system with its unique cluster-forming signal that travels through the plumbing network covering both hot and cold services, in order to protect shower, taps and fittings (making them easier to clean) as well as cylinders, boilers and heat exchangers.
Well done Hydroflow Tunisia. They are passionate about the HydroFLOW® chemical-free approach to treating both existing and new limescale.
