Case Study from HydroFLOW Tunisia
Domestic boiler limescale was a recurring problem at a residential property in Tunisia with two separate boilers, one for underfloor heating and one for domestic hot water. Scale kept blocking the showerheads, reduced hot water flow across the system and meant frequent plumbing maintenance, and the boilers themselves needed protecting. Two HydroFLOW® Pearl Plus units were installed directly on the two circuits, one on the heating circuit pipework and one on the domestic hot water line. Limescale problems were significantly reduced, the frequent showerhead blockages were eliminated, hot water flow improved and the need for plumbing maintenance fell.

To deal with domestic boiler limescale on both sides of the house, each circuit was treated on its own. One Pearl Plus went on the heating circuit pipework and the other on the domestic hot water line, both installed directly on the pipe. The aim was to reduce limescale and protect the two boilers and the water distribution equipment they feed.
