Czech Concrete Plant: 75% Less Calcium Deposit

Home 9 Case Studies and Results 9 Czech Concrete Plant: 75% Less Calcium Deposit
Key results
75% deposit reduction (up to)
Improved measurement accuracy
Reduced system downtime

The Challenges

  • Calcium deposits clogging pipes and valves
  • Mass scale accuracy affected by build-up
  • Frequent cleaning and shutdowns required
  • High lime content in recycled water

The Solution

Three HydroFLOW® i130 units were fitted to DN80 recycled water pipelines carrying 70 litres every 4 minutes. The signal disrupts the conditions that bond calcium to surfaces, cutting encrustation in pipes and valves and improving dosing accuracy.

Key Outcomes

R

Calcium encrustation cut by up to 75%

R

Frequent cleaning and shutdowns required

R

Mass scale measurement accuracy improved

R

High lime content in recycled water

Independent Verification
