Resort hot water heater scale at Half Moon, Jamaica
Resort hot water heater scale was building in the heater cores at Half Moon in Jamaica within a single month. The heaters served guest rooms, kitchens and laundry, removing one for cleaning needed an overhead crane, and pipes and valves were serviced monthly. In the laundry, washing machine windows were so caked that inspection was impossible. One HydroFLOW® C150 was installed on the heater supply header between units, treating the heaters and the laundry together. Eight months on, no heater had needed removing, the cores were clean, the washing machine windows stayed clear, and the supervisory system showed lower fuel consumption.
