Hydropath Celebrate GreenPro Accreditation

At Hydropath, we’re proud to be a global leader in sustainable cleantech for water treatment. Our mission is to improve how businesses manage water—using less energy, fewer chemicals, and extending equipment life. That’s why we’re thrilled to celebrate an exciting achievement: Hydropath has earned the prestigious  GreenPro Label.

This recognition marks a shared success—for Hydropath and the environment.

Understanding the GreenPro Ecolabel

Developed by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-Godrej GBC), the GreenPro Ecolabel is a Type-1 ecolabel based on international ISO standards. It helps end-users—particularly in the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors—identify products that demonstrate proven environmental performance across their entire lifecycle.

From raw material extraction and manufacturing, to performance and disposal, GreenPro-certified products are verified to contribute to:

  • Reduced energy and water consumption
  • Minimal environmental impact
  • Improved indoor air quality
  • Safer, healthier building environments

Additionally, The GreenPro Label is also recognised by the Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN) through GENICES. It ensures alignment with global environmental certification systems.

Why Hydropath Pursued the GreenPro Label for HydroFLOW®

With demand for sustainable products in India on the rise, we recognised that HydroFLOW®’s environmental strengths—such as water conservation, improved equipment lifespan, and reduced chemical use—made it an ideal candidate for GreenPro certification.

Earning the label positions HydroFLOW® as a prominent brand in sustainable cleantech innovation within the Indian market, and opens up significant opportunities across the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Earning the GreenPro Ecolabel was no small feat. It involved months of dedicated effort from our technical team at Hydropath HQ.

Key steps included:

  • Registration as an Innovative Technology HydroFLOW® was submitted under the GreenPro category for cleantech solutions with measurable sustainability benefits.
  • Promoting environmental benefits We developed presentations, campaigns, and reports that outlined how HydroFLOW® helps achieve sustainability goals—by reducing water and electricity use, minimising chemical reliance, and supporting cleaner operations.
  • Documenting the evidence Under the leadership of Denzil Rodrigues, Head of Innovation at Hydropath, we compiled over 25 technical documents—including test certificates, lifecycle analysis reports, and case studies from the field.
  • Independent evaluation A third-party assessor appointed by CII reviewed the submission, ensuring HydroFLOW® met all GreenPro benchmarks for environmental performance.

The process was rigorous, but the result was a significant win—not only for Hydropath but for the future of green building in India.
